Whenever you call or e-mail ChapterNine, you can be sure that you'll be speaking to a real person, not a robot.  We have hobbies and interests, have desks covered in clutter, and drink lots of tea.  And that reflects the way we treat you - as real people.  We will never treat you as simply 'clients', or 'business opportunities'.  We respect who you are, what you stand for, and aim to work around you in creating your site.  We try to keep our work to normal working hours, but if you want to meet up and the only time you have available is during the evening, that's absolutely fine too.

We don't just make web sites for churches, we attend them personally.  After all, this isn't just another way for us to make money - it's a calling, a service to God's people.  We use our experience of a number of church traditions and backgrounds to make sure we can relate to you and best serve your needs.

We may be normal, average, fallible people, just like everyone else, but that doesn't mean our work can't be exceptional.  Our passion for excellence, attention to detail and desire for perfection means that we'll do everything we can to make sure our web sites are stunning.

Tools of the trade

We are a primarily Mac-based business, using professional tools such as Mac OS Leopard, Adobe CreativeSuite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign), some fantastic development tools (such as Cyberduck, MAMP, Sequel Pro, iSVN and Smultron), a good handful of web browsers (including Firefox, Safari, Opera, Flock, Omniweb and Camino), and some sanity-sustaining extras (like iTunes, Adium and Tweetie).

We also have Windows PCs available for testing purposes, allowing us to check our sites work with Internet Explorer (versions 8, 7, 6 and 5.5, thanks to IETester), Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari.
